Grocery

So... I went to Wal-Mart earlier to get some random shit and you know, I figured...Wal-mart has it all what ev, let's roll... So I got everything but the jelly/peanut butter pre-mixed. They were out. What the hell. Wal-Mart, out of this but they had 5000 jars of peanut butter sitting on the shelf. Dude.

Ok, so whatever, I got over that, no big deal. So I have my 20 items in the car and I go to the express check out, which says on the sign "20 ITEMS OR LESS".... This woman who I'm going to be nice to, had a cart FULL of stuff, probably over 80 items, EASILY over 80. She pulls up to the express and starts unloading and nobody says a damn thing to her. I was at the next aisle so it wasn't my business but seriously they just let her do that. What the hell, we can't even say "sorry ma'am, you're going to have to go to one of the regular check-outs..."

Ugh, welll /rant.

I hope that you can relate to this situation or else I think I may just be sounding like an asshole, but you know that wouldn't be the first time I've heard that. I just want my stores to be convenient, my roads to be safe, and my education to be cheap... Unfortunately I get none of these so I like to complain a lot. A LOT...
And with that, I think I'll stop and pick up next time.

The Reason

As some of you know, I am a junior and I'm in ENG103 with freshmen and sophomores. Some of you may be wondering why? Why is he taking it so late? Did he fail? Well to answer your question(s). Since I was in high school, I've been afraid of writing. I'm not very good at it, and I hate it. When I took the new SAT, I totally bombed the writing portion (left me wondering how BSU accepted me, ha). For some reason, I always had this idea that English in college would be writing, writing, and more writing. I never really asked anyone, nor did I want to. So here I am, WRITING for my English class. Most of you are saying, yeah yeah, this is just a blog. Well....because I don't write much, especially if I can keep from it, my grammar and spelling skills have started to fail. I feel like my 12-year old sisters can write/spell better than me. So how did I get to taking English now? I just chose to put it off and replace it with other classes that were required for BSU (history, speech, math, blah blah blah). Now, I have to pass this, so I can take 104 next semester :/. This semester is going to be rough for me, but I'm hoping that I find writing to be not so bad. I'm positive that I will be writing several papers for my Architecture history class. Those I will not be looking forward to. The last Architecture history class I took, the entire class was based on writing papers on architecture theory. I came close to getting booted out. Now for pictures that I think can be a good representation of my writings.
Ok, so maybe my FAIL at writing isn't quite as bad as these, but in my opinion, my writing isn't too swell.

New to this...

So I'm not quite sure how this works and I've never really read and blogs or what ever... but I figured I'd get on here and poke around. I guess I can start by sharing a bit about myself...

Above is a photo taken this Fall of part of my family. I'm obviously the one all the way on the right. My twin sister is the girl on the left (with her husband to the left of her). The two girls to her right are my next youngest sisters, and they are identical twins. Next to me is the youngest sister, who I refer to as a half twin. She developed while her twin did not... And between my sisters, is my mom. I also have another sister who is older but she wasn't able to make the photo. I suppose that's all I have about my family...
My interests include but are not limited to: Computers they are my a good chunk of my free time. Video Games, when Architecture isn't consuming me, I spend my time playing FPS with friends from high school. Lifting weights, it's my excuse for being lazy. I lift weights, so I don't have to run and watch my diet or whatever. Play xbox live? Hit me up, my gamertag is - lu lu27

I am a third year Architecture student. By this point in my college life, I'm just taking whatever classes I have left and being consumed with stuff I actually want to spend time on (my major)[no offense to anyone]. It gets pretty intense during the Spring semester in Architecture because the second half of the semester we enter a design competition and we (Arch. students) are stuck up in studio working away. Here's an image of my desk and a project I worked on last semester. I don't really have a good shot of studio but... you get the idea, its a busy space.
If you have any interest in Architecture... feel free to get a hold of me and we can chat if you'd like. Also if you want to see the type of atmosphere it is, it's WAY better than any classroom you'll ever sit in.

So that's a decent start at introducing myself I suppose.
